Payout Portal overview

FastSpring uses a dedicated Payouts Portal to manage your banking information and transfers securely. While you track sales, configure splits, and download reports in the main FastSpring app, the Payouts Portal is where you manage the actual flow of funds to your bank account.

Understanding how money moves from your customer to your bank account helps you predict your cash flow.

Transaction: A customer purchases your product.
Settlement: FastSpring holds the funds for a standard 14-day accrual period to account for potential refunds or chargebacks.
Payout: On your scheduled payout date, funds are transferred from FastSpring to your Payouts Portal.
Transfer: If Auto Transfer is configured, funds are sent to your bank immediately.

Why do I have a separate Payouts Portal login?

For security and compliance, your banking data is hosted in a dedicated financial environment (powered by Hyperwallet) separate from your main FastSpring store settings. You will have distinct credentials for this portal.

Where is my money?

If you see sales in your dashboard but haven't received a deposit:

Check your Accrual Period: Remember the 14-day delay. Sales made today are not eligible for payout until 14 days have passed.
Check your Minimum Threshold: You must exceed the minimum payout amount (default $100) to trigger a transfer.
Check the Payouts Portal: Log in to the portal to ensure your transfer method is active and not flagged for verification.

Are there geographic restrictions?

Yes. At this time, the FastSpring Payouts Portal is unable to support payouts to sellers in the following regions:

Myanmar
North Korea
Russia
Somalia
Sudan
Syria
