Welcome to FastSpring
Understand the Merchant of Record partnership and start your onboarding journey.
FastSpring is your global partner for digital commerce. We act as your Merchant of Record (MoR), which means we handle the complexity of global taxes, compliance, and payment processing so you can focus on building your product.
How the partnership works
In a traditional gateway model, you are responsible for calculating taxes and following local laws in every country where you sell. With FastSpring, we become the legal seller of your products.
- Tax management: We calculate, collect, and remit sales tax and VAT to local authorities worldwide.
- Compliance: We manage global regulations, including GDPR and PCI DSS, on your behalf.
- Payment processing: We handle fraud protection and support localized payment methods automatically.
