FastSpring supports Klarna "Pay Now" as a payment method.
Klarna "Pay Now" Availability: This feature is being rolled out in phases and may only be available for some eligible users.
Klarna “Pay Now” gives buyers a secure, convenient, and local way to make payments using their preferred payment method.
FastSpring offers Klarna “Pay Now” as a payment option to buyers purchasing in the specific local currencies listed in the prerequisites section.

Prerequisites
To use Klarna "Pay Now", the buyer must have an active Klarna account and must purchase from one of the supported countries using the local currency listed below:

Warning: Klarna Pay Now is not an option for products with auto-recurring payments (subscriptions).
Customer experience
Here is the FastSpring Klarna "Pay Now" experience for buyers:
- The buyer selects Klarna as their payment option during checkout.
- FastSpring prompts the buyer for personal details (a session is automatically created if details are already known).
- FastSpring redirects the buyer to a secure page hosted by Klarna for authentication.
- Once authenticated, Klarna prompts the buyer to select their funding source (e.g., Pay by Bank or Pay by Card) from their Klarna wallet.
- Once the buyer completes the payment process, FastSpring displays a completed order confirmation.
Refunds and returns
Refunds for Klarna transactions behave the same as other FastSpring refunds. FastSpring automatically returns the funds to the buyer's account. No special configuration is required to process Klarna refunds.

FAQs
Can Klarna 'Pay Now' be used for subscription purchases?
No. FastSpring supports Klarna "Pay Now" only for one-time purchases. Klarna does not allow recurring purchases.
Does FastSpring offer a 'Buy Now, Pay Later' option?
No. We are not offering "Buy Now, Pay Later" (financing) at this time. We are only offering the "Pay Now" option, which requires payment in full at the time of purchase.
Is Klarna enabled by default?
No. Klarna is not automatically enabled for all FastSpring sellers. This payment method is currently on hold for enabling new sellers.
Is Klarna a real-time payment method?
Klarna Payments are not strictly real-time; processing might take time. FastSpring has developed an automated reconciliation process to track and complete orders when payments are successfully captured by our system.
